The AP Course Audit was created at the request of secondary
school and college members of the College Board who sought a means for the
College Board to:
1. Provide teachers and administrators with clear guidelines on
curricular and resource requirements that must be in place for AP courses; and
2. Help colleges and universities better interpret secondary school
courses marked "AP" on students' transcripts.
Through a process in which syllabi are submitted to the College
Board for approval, the Kentucky Virtual High School has received approval to
designate all of the Advanced Placement courses available in the KVHS Course
Catalog as “AP.”
KVHS courses approved as AP: Art History Biology Calculus AB Calculus BC Chemistry Computer Science A English Language and Composition English Literature and Composition Environmental Science European History French Language German Language US Government and Politics Human Geography Latin Literature Macroeconomics Microeconomics Physics B Physics C Electricity and Magnetism Physics C Mechanics Psychology Spanish Language Statistics US History
